Marquee Madness!

For speed readers who don't have enough time for anything

I think it started at Heflin Elementary. On the way to soccer practice, I tried to remember the sky's gradient during sunset so that I could watercolor it for a project in 4th grade. It was a pretty good, I thought. Especially the Alamo. I also painted a picture of a cowboy riding a horse standing on its hind legs. It got a blue ribbon and was displayed at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. In middle school, I was in sculpture class and made this bust of Groucho Marx's head. I'm not sure why I chose Groucho. But that was on display in the hallways of O'Donnell Middle School for a while. He had a cigar in his mouth and everything. At Alief Hasting High School, my group created an advertisement for a made-up product. It was the most fun I ever had on a project. And that's when things started going downhill. After I graduated and enrolled at the University of Houston, I was a biology major, working for a dentist on my way to become a dentist myself when something kept nagging me to do something else. And then I took a Spanish course, met some people and somehow by the next semester, I switched my major to advertising. And that's how I got here. Abusing marquees while I still can.

Other things. Under other things. Mind blown.
