photography

People who get into photography go through phases. The first phase is almost always landscapes. Then after that is maybe a brief shutter-speed experimental phase. Next phase is people. Then they feel like they can do a better job than models so they begin to do self-portraits. Then after that is photographing the abstract.

I'm not sure which photo phase I'm in, but I'm definitely finding a pattern of restrooms and vans when I go through my pictures.

I admire people who take their camera everywhere they go. My first camera was a Sony Handycam. It wasn't a camera. It was a camcorder that happened to have a camera. Later, my dad let me borrow his Canon that he didn't really use after he saw my website (Version One)I don't even know what it was called. A Canon Something. It was a point-and-shoot but had adjustable photo settings such as f-stop, shutter speed, etc. I used that for a while until I took a photojournalism class. That's when my mom lent me her Nikon. And that's what I'm using today.
