Elaborate handshakes aren't as prevalent as they once were. This mobile app's purpose is to bring the multi-step handshakes back and to make sure they don't look too stupid.
Having a secret handshake can create camaraderie among people who know it. This app helps create another bond in a group's friendship, like an inside joke. Businesses can create a secret handshake and let users download it, learn it and use it when they walk into the store for discounts. Learning a secret handshake takes commitment, unlike a secret password. And making that commitment could pay off for the user in discounts and for the business in customer loyalty.
Just be careful not to do the wrong handshake in the wrong hood.
Home
Users can either create and preview their own handshakes, see their past handshakes or have one made at random.
Create
Handshakes are broken down into four different categories: the Intros, the Normals, the Specials and the Endings.
Users can choose different handshake elements from the categories, place them in the timeline and preview it to see if it matches up to their secret cult's standards.
Random
For those who aren't sure what they want, they can have a handshake randomly made.
If the randomizer gives them something they like, they can save it. If there are some steps they can do without, it can be taken out of the timeline.
Submit
Users can go back to their saved secret handshakes to edit them. They can also submit their handshake to The Secret Handshake Generator website and get it rated and ranked.
